The Maidenhead Pool League has been running, in one form or another, in the town
since the 1970's and has been organising a permanent Winter League since the
early 90's. In addition the MPL organises a shorter Summer League for players
who wish to keep their hand in all year round as well as individual singles,
doubles and ladies competitions. We are a well organised local league based in
Maidenhead. The league members include teams from pubs and social clubs in
Maidenhead and the surrounding area.
League matches are played on Monday nights and are refereed to world 8-ball pool
rules. There are two seasons per year with the winter season having additional
cup, plate, single and doubles competitions.
Singles & Doubles Compeition Results
The registration date for the MPL singles and Doubles Competitions will take place at Racks on Sunday 29th January. Registration will be from 1.00pm until 6.00pm with the draws to follow. No entries after this date will be allowed!
Registration is once again £5 per player, so £10 for a pairing in the doubles. Teams can pay before this date but all money and registration forms need to be handed to a member of the committee.
Players must ensure that they are available for all of the dates set out in the fixtures as no games can be moved to suit individuals. Players must also make sure that they are able to attend their matches for 8.00pm as no leniency will be given to players to change the match to a later time. Failure to adhere to any of the above will result in the loss of your match.
